You know that eBay doesn't allow anymore links to other sites in their listings. I was more interested in promoting ecrater to ebay browsers than the other way around.
It is your decision if you want to promote your eBay items in your eCrater store.
To mention my ebay listings in my ecrater store? Im going to have to be much more careful with the wording I use here. I meant that we manage our stores, as opposed to a selling site that manages them for us, so to speak. Hello Moonwishes I know that I dont own ecrater, the wording I used was perhaps a little wrong. Even though you state no offence, some people would be offended by that. elpereles, can I just say that, as helpful as some people can be here, I dont think its terribly helpful to call someone very stupid for seeking help. As I said in my first post, I was asking because I wanted to be sure that I was allowed to mention ecrater in my ebay listings as I dont want to do something wrong on either site. I think for those of you who have regular sales here, and Im so glad for you, its not that much of an issue as you have pobably made the transition. And Yes it is more expensive and I believe that the other site have unfair policies but, for the time being I, and many others are stuck with the other site for a little while, as we try to establish ourselves here. I recommend add it in my About page and maybe create a blog promoting your eBay links. I can consider very stupid and not very productive add an eBay link in my eCrater listings. I'm not an eBay "anti-fanatic", but if I want sales from me eCrater store. People can only see the link address as "clickable" if they have some special add-ons in their browsers.Ĭazamoran, no offense. That is correct in eCrater the links will not show as "clickable". Why would you want to send traffic to a site that is more expensive to sell on anyhow? I would be sure that each item you sell on ebay you are sending promotional material inviting them to your ecrater store where you keep most of your sales income.
That being said, if you want to mention your ebay store in your about us page, no one will stop you, but there is no way to make a clickable link to ebay no matter how hard you try. You are only granted permission to have a store here as long as you follow the rules. Well, no this isn't a website owned by you. You can put the URL but it's not a link so it will never be clickable.
